Three speakers give talks at University of Malaya

With an intention to boost the enthusiasm and curiosity of the students who are our future endeavors, we had paper presentations, poster presentations, quizzes, workshops on topics like Remote Sensing, Petrel by renowned professionals from the industry.
Trapspot is a series of annual events conducted by AAPG University of Padjajaran (Unpad) Student Chapter. Activities include a national seminar, a poster contest, a conference and a fieldtrip to which we will welcome geociences students from several universities in Indonesia.
In the evening of September 8th, the AAPG Curtin Student Chapter hosted Manager of Energy Geoscience, Ameed Ghori from the Western Australian Department of Mines and Petroleum for a technical talk on basins and petroleum systems modelling. He also discussed the future of the petroleum industry as part of the AAPG Visiting Geoscientist Program.
