István Bérczi, Past President of AAPG European Region, received a high recognition from the state of Hungary, the Hungarian Order of Merit with Officer's Cross.
The medal is the second highest State Order of Hungary and is awarded to citizens of Hungary and foreigners.
Bérczi is with the MOL Group, in Budapest, Hungary. He served as the AAPG Europe Region president from 2007-09.
