Throughout the year there are more opportunities than ever for geoscience students to improve job securing skills and begin new careers in the energy industry!

The Student Expo is a unique event for linking geosciences students with industry recruiters. Students benefit by networking, sharing their resume, presenting their research, and interviewing with multiple employers. Companies enjoy cost-efficient and timely recruiting from a diverse and talented student population.

The 2016 AAPG/SEG Spring Break Student Expo is a networking and learning opportunity offered free to students. The School of Geology & Geophysics at The University of Oklahoma is hosting this event in March, allowing for students and professionals to participate in a day of networking, short courses, exhibits and a poster contest. The deadline to register, submit abstracts and exhibit is February 26. Make new industry contacts and take advantage of professional development opportunities this spring break.

  • California State University in Northridge, California.
