John Roesink is an exploration geologist with Jagged Peak Energy in Denver, Colorado currently focused on the Delaware basin of west Texas.  Previous experience with Bill Barrett Corporation, Noble Energy, and the Department of Geological Sciences at the University of Colorado, Boulder.  Roesink has worked in development roles in numerous Rocky Mountain basins including the Uinta, Piceance, Wind River, Greater Green River, and Denver-Julesburg basins.  As a Research Associate at CU he helped Dr. Paul Weimer create the Interactive Geology Project to teach geologic concepts with computer animation.  Current focus is on using large datasets and visualization to improve operating efficiency and discover overlooked opportunities.
