In the classes I teach, I stress that it is important to use ALL of the data available to you. What many interpreters fail to realize is that there is far more data available to them than is readily apparent at first glance. They no longer know how to interrogate the data; they also fail to recognize that an understanding of the geology is, in itself, data that can, and must be incorporated into the interpretation.
