DPA Seeks Recognition by Canadian Security Commission

September 2003

At last years annual meeting in Salt Lake City, the DPA Executive Committee and Advisory Council unanimously endorsed a proposal that the DPA seek recognition by the Canadian Security Commission as a self-regulatory organization of geologists. In so doing, DPA members may be recognized as Qualified Evaluators. The DPA Executive Committee is now awaiting the required approval of the proposal from the AAPG Executive Committee.
