Candidates should have a strong record of research and teaching, and must have received their Ph.D. in Geology, or a related field, at the time of appointment. Associate Sedimentologist or Sedimentologist (depending on qualifications)

We are seeking an individual to fill one position to plan, coordinate, and conduct basic and applied research related to bedrock geology and industrial minerals. Characterize sedimentary rocks with a focus on the lithostratigraphy and sequence stratigraphy utilizing sedimentology, biostratigraphy, chemostratigraphy, and bedrock geologic mapping. Serve as principal investigator, lead research and projects, and perform tasks in that capacity, including management and production of projects, grants, contract reports and other deliverables.
