Feature Your Projects at the Research Showcase in Calgary

Published
American Association of Petroleum Geologists (AAPG)

Securing the funding necessary to do research and fund graduate students is difficult. Since AAPG’s principal mission is to advance the petroleum geosciences, there is an increasing need to help promote and facilitate the pursuit and development of new geological insights and understanding. With the hope to bridge this gap, the AAPG Research Showcase returns to the Exhibition Hall at ACE 2016 in Calgary.

Scientists and researchers around the world in universities, institutes, industry, consultancies, research consortia, government laboratories and think-tanks are invited to showcase current or proposed research projects that are applicable to finding and producing oil and natural gas. The goals of the AAPG Research Showcase are to encourage cooperation between like-minded scientists and to connect researchers with prospective industry or government sponsors of their research.
