Mark Zoback from Stanford University is offering his Reservoir Geomechanics course for free again this year. The course will run April 1st through June 10th, 2015.
The Petroleum Structure and Geomechanics Division will have a presence at the AAPG annual meeting for 2015. Theme 5 of the Technical Program contains many talks and posters of interest to the PSGD members.
The PSGD is happy to announce the release of our first sanctioned Special Issue of AAPG Bulletin titled Faulting and Fracturing in Shale and Self-sourced Reservoirs (November 2014 issue).
