Free Reservoir Geomechanics course offered by Mark Zoback

Mark Zoback from Stanford University is offering his Reservoir Geomechanics course for free again this year. The course will run April 1st through June 10th, 2015.

"This interdisciplinary course encompasses the fields of rock mechanics, structural geology, earthquake seismology and petroleum engineering to address a wide range of geomechanical problems that arise during the exploitation of oil and gas reservoirs." (From Mark’s course website)

Last year, an average of 3,500 participants viewed the course lectures, while 2,200 participants completed the course.
