AAPG Seeks Your Officer Nominations

Published
American Association of Petroleum Geologists (AAPG)

Dear AAPG Leadership,

We’ve got some work to do.

Now is the time to put forth who YOU would like to serve as your leaders.

We only have 60 days until the list must be finalized.

AAPG rules stipulate we must receive two official forms to validate the nomination:

  • Step 1: Complete the officer nomination form.
  • Step 2: Download the Commitment Statement for the candidate to complete.
  • Step 3: Forward the forms to , , or Vicki Beighle, mail to AAPG P.O. Box 979, Tulsa, OK 74101 or fax to 1-918-560-2694.

These must be submitted by 30 June. Nominations received after 30 June will be held for next year's officer nominations.

A special note: Even if you cannot provide the required paperwork at this time, please provide the name(s) of Members you believe are qualified. Just by knowing your intention (and name of the potential candidate) we can begin to properly prepare for the Advisory Council meeting. You’ll be providing an enormous boost to the workflow at HQ!

We know everyone is busy – and time is the most precious commodity within our professional and personal lives – but we respectfully request that you take a moment now and send us the name of the Member you believe could serve as a future officer of our great organization. (Don’t worry, we'll send you a reminder in a couple of weeks to submit the paperwork!)

Remember, we cannot do this without your input.

Thank you for your dedication and service to AAPG – and for your commitment and engagement in this very important process.
