John de Wardt CEng FIMechE is an upstream global consultant with a primary focus on drilling and wells. He held key engineering and management positions with Shell, Forasol/Foramer and Halliburton before forming his own consulting company in 1994 reaching over 75 clients worldwide. He specializes in performance gap analysis / solutions, Lean Manufacturing (Lean Drilling™) and strategic planning. John was elected a Fellow of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers and a Distinguished Member of the Society of Petroleum engineers. John has published over 45 industry papers / articles and worked in 34 countries. de Wardt & Company

Matthew Isbell

Matthew Isbell is a Senior Drilling Engineering Advisor at Hess Corporation focused on well construction continuous improvement and real-time systems. Matt tackles well delivery improvement opportunities and delivers efficient system solutions using technology, process, and communication skills. His expertise includes drilling systems where he holds 27 patents and has published 34 technical papers.

Magnus Tvedt

Magnus is a coder, tinkerer, leader, talker, father, husband, and engineer, in some order. After years of international well planning, he founded Pro Well Plan to improve decision making in the oil industry.

Kate Gibbons has a long and experienced career in the oil and gas industry. PhD from Manchester University, developed her career in Statoil, Halliburton, Helix RDS, Baker Hughes and Nexen (now CNOOC).
