Since August of 2010 total DPA Membership has increased from 2636 to 2786 members or an increase of 150 members. 138 of the 150 new members were in the Active Membership category.
Last fall the DPA began a membership recruitment campaign. The goal of the campaign was to contact every eligible non-DPA AAPG member and invite them to apply for DPA membership. The method to accomplish to this goal was the following:
We are currently working Phase 3. Please see the attached report supplied to me from the AAPG Divisions Office summarizing Phase 1, 2 and 3.
Our next step is to complete Phase 3 and then start Phase 4 later in the year.
Every year the AAPG offers us a free quarter page ad to be run in the Explorer. Did you see it in the December issue? We can run another one this year. What is the best month?
Finally, THANK YOU - I greatly appreciate the tremendous work and dedication of AAPG Divisions Manager, Norma Newby, and her staff with the membership campaign this year. Their work load was already heavy when they agreed to work this campaign.
