GTW in Auckland completed successfully
A Geosciences Technology Workshop was presented in Auckland from 15-17 April 2019. Themed : "Gas Hydrates – From Potential Geohazard to Carbon-Efficient Fuel?", it had a strong technical program, guided by Convenor Dr Ingo Pecher and his committee. The event was held at the University of Auckland and welcomed delegates from 10 countries. Delegates enjoyed the cosy and personal atmosphere of the workshop. Sponsorship support came from the University of Western Australia, Oilfield Technologies and GNS Science. The program also welcomed a live discussion with David Schoderbek , BPX Energy, Denver, CO, USA who spoke on the North Slope CO2-CH4 Exchange Project (Zoom conference).
