Timothy R. Carr, of Morgantown, W.Va., won the A.I. Levorsen Memorial Award for presenting the best paper at the Mid-Continent Section’s annual meeting.
The meeting was held in September in Wichita, Kan.
Carr’s winning paper was titled “Kansas Oil and Gas Activity, 1869-2006.”
He will be recognized at the Mid-Continent Section annual meeting, set Oct. 5-9, 2009, in Tulsa.
