Denise has over 20 peer-reviewed publications and presentations on international and domestic exploration and production. Her focus has been on reservoir evaluation and description, depositional environment interpretation and stratigraphy. Prior to 1990 she was exploring for hydrocarbons for Amoco in the interior basins of East Africa. That technical work is detailed in AAPG Studies in Geology #44.
