The workshop will be three days, consisting of technical presentations, poster presentations and breakout sessions, where participants can discuss and investigate a specific theme that is of mutual interest. The first day will feature an inaugural keynote speech by Intisaar Al Kindy, Explorartion Director, PDO and technical keynote speech by high-profile professionals from the industry.
Workshop participants will have an opportunity to enroll for a half-day field trip to Wadi Al Khoud.

AAPG/GSO Field Trip:
This fieldtrip will cover three main stops in Al Khoud village:
Stop 1: Deep-oceanic sediments and ophiolite.
Stop 2: The unconformity between the Al Khoud Formation and Al Jafnyn Formation.
Stop 3: Shallow marine carbonate sediments of Al Jafnyn, Al Rusail and Al Seeb Formations.
