Dr. Kristie S. McLin is Manager of the Petroleum Geochemistry and Basin Modeling team at ConocoPhillips. In this role, Dr. McLin leads a team of scientists to support the global portfolio of ConocoPhillips and to develop leading edge technologies in the disciplines of geochemistry and basin modeling.

Dr. McLin has served in numerous roles within ConocoPhillips, including Senior Advisor Supply Chain Sustainability, Water Management Project Lead for the Mid-Continent Business Unit, and Senior Geologist in Reservoir Quality Prediction. Prior to joining ConocoPhillips, Dr. McLin conducted geochemistry research related to exploration and production of geothermal systems at the Energy and Geoscience Institute at the University of Utah and consulted on these topics for industry. Dr. McLin serves on the ConocoPhillips Women’s Network Steering Committee and the American Association of Petroleum Geologists (AAPG) Corporate Advisory Board and the AAPG Sustainability Committee. She has a BS in Geology and MS in Geochemistry from New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology and a PhD in Geology from University of Utah.
