Ramiro earned a PhD in geology from the Universidad Nacional de La Plata, where he later taught structural geology courses. He spent four years with Fronterra Geosciences before joining YPF in Buenos Aires. Ramiro has experience working with static modeling projects in several basins in Argentina and the United States as well as with exploration of tight reservoirs. Since 2014, he has led characterization and modeling studies of natural fractures for exploration and development projects in both conventional and unconventional reservoirs.
