    Energy transition has many moving parts and no simple solution. EGS may be part of tech toolbox to tackle the mounting challenges in the energy transition.

    Gut checks please.

    1) Connecting what happens at the surface to heat source in subsurface. Figures 1 & 2 helps us visualize connecting the moving parts and putting projects together, just as geologists have been doing in exploration. Is it?

    2) Mining heat as a framework paves the way for more deliberate and purposed discussions, perhaps with EMD?
