Jennifer Hoyt

Childhood ambitions:
It’s not really an ambition, but my mother was not surprised when I chose to major in geology in college – apparently when I was a child she always had to check my pants pockets for rocks before washing them.

East Texas, Fort Worth, Deepwater Angola, Deepwater Nigeria

My Geo-Specialties:

My Inspiration
My most memorable idols/mentors:
I’ve had several great mentors along the way – I do my best to make sure I keep in touch with these people because they helped me lot and to thank them for being such great people to work with.

2006

My Best Advice:
Every time you give a talk pretend that you are standing on an iceberg. Each word is a chip off of that iceberg. When you choose your words, choose wisely so that at the end of the talk you are still above water.

Bachelor’s and Master’'s from University of Texas-Dallas
