My first geo-job/internship was interning at National Energy Technology Laboratory in Morgantown, WV helping correlate Upper Devonian Sands/Silts in the Appalachian Basin and pulling production data. My first career job was with Exxon Exploration Company. Since then, I’ve worked for EG&G, SAIC, and am currently at EQT Production.

My fondest career memory was presenting my first National AAPG talk to a crowded room. My proudest moment is the birth of my sons.

Lee Avery. I've known Lee since I was an undergrad at WVU. She is very encouraging of young geologists and works hard to be a voice for the students. She proved to me that a Geologist from the Appalachian Basin can get national recognition through AAPG.
