Katerina Yared is a petrophysicist at Apache Corp in Tulsa, OK. She has a Masters degree in Geology from the RWTH Aachen University in Aachen, Germany. She started her career working for the service company Baker Hughes working offshore and onshore running LWD tools. Other roles she had at Baker Hughes in Houston and Denver included applications engineer, geoscientist, formation evaluation adviser and geoscience manager. She worked as a geoscientist for a short period of time at NeosGeosolutions in Denver. Katerina is a Texas certified P.G. and an active member of AAPG, SPE and SPWLA. Currently she is the Regional director of North America (I) for the SPWLA. During all her career she found ways to participate and organize events to help females as well as young professionals have a bigger voice in the oil and gas industry and break more barriers. Katerina speaks 5 languages English, Greek, German, Italian and French and enjoys travelling and family time.
