AAPG members, show us the way you experience the beauty of geology, travel, and the Earth in GeoLifestyle’s new photography contest: Geology in Focus. Share your favorite shots of outcrops, landscapes, or geological features, and your photo could be featured in Explorer magazine.
The contest features five categories:
1. Landscapes and Outcrops
2. Industry in Action
3. Aerial and Drone Perspectives
4. Student Adventures
5. Abstract Geology
To enter, you must be an AAPG member submitting original photography. The maximum number of entries is five, one per category. Submissions will be judged by AAPG staff.
Entries will be featured in AAPG’s newsletter GeoLifestyle and on AAPG social media throughout the contest. The deadline to submit is August, and winners will be announced at the end of the month.
