The officer candidate slate for the 2026-27 AAPG Executive Committee has been announced, with voting scheduled to begin in March.
This year’s election slate includes voting for three offices, including president-elect. Nominations are reviewed by the Advisory Council, and those chosen as candidates are recommended to the Executive Committee for approval.
The person elected president-elect will serve in that capacity for one year and then will be AAPG president for 2027-28. The terms for the vice president-Sections and Treasurer posts are for 2026-28.

Voting will open March 30 on AAPG.org. Voting ends May 15.
