The Permian Basin, spanning from West Texas to southeast New Mexico, has long been a cornerstone of U.S. oil and natural gas production. As a significant region for oil and gas production, it has been undergoing transformative changes. Nowadays, it is at the forefront of efforts to reduce emissions, enhance sustainability, and shape the future of energy operations. This session delves into some key aspects related to the future of operations in the Permian: e.g., induced seismicity, water management (produced water recycling and beneficial reuse of produced water), and AI and powering workflows with new technologies.
