Geological publications, research, and maps at your fingertips

Datapages is a digital archive of geological publications that features the most comprehensive collection of petroleum geological research available. The archive catalogs geological studies articles, and field guide books from geological societies around the world with pay-per-view and subscription purchase options. Used by geoscientists of all levels and specializations, Datapages is the tool independents, universities, majors, and more use to support their projects and research.

Datapages also publishes its own free online journal entitled Search and Discovery and operates Datapages Exploration Objects (DEO). DEO combines GIS technology, portal searching, and deep indexing technology within the search-and-retrieval process, delivering all files in geo-rectified or geolocated formats, so you can easily import into a mapping application.

A fully owned subsidiary of AAPG, Datapages is accessible via annual subscription.

What Datapages can do for you

  • Build out the literature review and previous findings sections of your research with studies dating back to 1917.
  • Discover exploration analogs, hard data, geologic reports, concepts, regional trends, core photographs, seismic lines, and much more from across the globe.
  • Help augment your upstream projects with additional support references, findings, and statistics.
  • Improve the accuracy of your projections with an enormous amount of credible data and information at your fingertips.

Share your research

If you have an abstract/presentation/or poster that showcases your proven research, submit it to be considered for inclusion in Search and Discovery.
