This is the author's first novel. The University of Ilouria hires Rob Veenstra for his geological expertise to develop a new program. Several professors then tried to oust his department head. Rob and others support the head with whom Rob developed great rapport.
The head could not handle successful people around him and suddenly asks Rob to leave Illouria. Rob refused. The university administration did nothing.
Serious financial issues in the department prompted Illouria's Board of Trustees to hold hearings. Rob testifies and fortuitously disclosed his problems with the head. The Board invetigates and takes action.
George Klein is a geological consultant and the author of eight reference books, nearly 300 technical papers, and this first novel.
