A special call for mainland United States projects is taking place for 2023.
Project Leads serving communities in historically underrepresented groups or communities at risk by using geosciences to solve humanitarian challenges — such as access to safe water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH) pollution abatement, disaster risk reduction, building resilience, and other similar topics — are especially encouraged to apply. Projects that are working to serve communities in greater Houston area, Texas and Louisiana bordering regions and other neighborhoods in that area — are encouraged to apply, especially those with women project leads.
