You are invited to prepare a poster display for presentation. If you are interested in participating, please send a short abstract along with the poster artwork (in PDF high resolution format) to by 19 March 2018. All posters will be produced as pull-up banners and delivered by AAPG. There will not be any other format available for poster display. Please ensure that the poster artwork measurements are 85 cm (width) x 165 cm (height). Please click here to download an abstract template.
With rising global demand, highly volatile but depressed prices and increasingly stringent environmental regulations, the oil and gas industry faces a key challenge to optimize oil and gas field production from both fields already under production and those yet to be developed. Now is the time to squeeze these assets for everything they're worth whilst improving their long term value delivery. This requires full subsurface to surface integration. Such analysis augments field profitability by reducing the uncertainty and the time from discovery to commercial exploitation for new fields; and increases the ultimate recovery of hydrocarbons in mature fields through identification and maturation of relatively cheap hydrocarbons. The application of leading-edge technologies, especially under a multi-disciplinary team umbrella, can be key to ensuring maximum product value is delivered.
The objective of the Workshop is to shape the E&P integration processes, and especially the geoscience contribution, by examining case studies from a range of geoscience, engineering and business environments. The Workshop aims to help drive continuous improvement in the discipline’s contribution to maximize the product value by identifying and disseminating best practices in both conventional and unconventional field-life development planning workflows.
The workshop will attract experts from various disciplines to talk and share their experience and knowledge in sessions covering:
The Workshop welcomes all geo-scientists and engineers interested or involved in exploring and developing conventional and unconventional reservoirs.
