Participants of the Structural Styles in the Middle East GTW have an incredible opportunity to enroll for a half-day field trip to observe:

  • The contact between the ophiolite and shelf carbonate at Qantab.
  • The large scale sheeth folds and low-angle detachment zones.
  • The hot water springs at the contact between the ophiolite and the shelf carbonates of Saih Hatat.

***The field trip is included as part of the workshop registration fees. However, please note that seats are limited and will be available on a first-come first-served basis.***
