American Association of Petroleum Geologists (AAPG)

AAPG’s Siliciclastic Reservoirs of the Middle East GTW took place from the 23rd – 25th March, 2015 at the Jumeirah Messilah Beach Hotel and Spa in Kuwait City, Kuwait. 102 industry professionals from 6 countries attended the workshop to network with peers and colleagues and learn about the industry’s geosciences. 15 presentations took place across the 2 days, representing a combination of 9 different companies and academic institutions.

Highlights included very productive core display sessions with active participation from the workshop delegates, exciting and informative keynote lectures delivered by Ahmed Al Eidan from KOC and Dr. Nicky White from the University of Cambridge, and a half day field trip which was led by Kuwait University.

AAPG would also like to take this opportunity to sincerely thank and acknowledge Kuwait Oil Company as our Platinum Sponsor, Saudi Aramco as our Gold Sponsor, and TNO as our Coffee Break Sponsor.
