Detailed technical program for the upcoming Digital Subsurface Transformation workshop taking place in Dubai, UAE from 7-8 May 2018 is now online.

This two-day workshop will feature sessions focusing on data challenges that subsurface face, along with solutions from other industries and lessons learnt. Make sure you register and join us for this one of a kind workshop on the important and exciting topic of digital transformation. Presentations and panel speakers confirmed from IHS, KAUST, KOC, PDO, Saudi Aramco, Siemens to name a few.

The workshop will feature the following areas of discussion:

  • Familiarize attendees on the concepts of Big Data, advanced analytics, machine learning, cognitive computing, deep learning, and artificial intelligence.
  • Data challenges that the Upstream sector faces, be it Geological, Geophysical, or Petroleum Engineering.
  • How can the new advances in data science transform the traditional methods in the Upstream and Exploration?
  • Learning from other industries in terms of digital transformation.
  • Applying new data concepts in the Exploration and Upstream.
  • Most recent advances in the technology industries.

This workshop will set the groundwork for the fourth industrial revolution in Middle East oil and gas operators. In addition, it will provide information on data science advances and how they could change the traditional exploration methods and the upstream oil and gas business in general. The “Digital Subsurface Transformation GTW” will serve as the rendezvous for the technology sector and the oil and gas operators. The workshop will invite speakers from the Middle East’s National Oil Companies (NOCs), top technology companies, International Oil Companies (IOCs), and service providers as well leading experts in Big Data.
