American Association of Petroleum Geologists (AAPG)

AAPG Asia Pacific is proud to present to our members a program of talks presented online via Zoom, free of charge. This is your invitation to join in.

Asia Pacific Presents:

Within a program of seven series, we would like to invite willing speakers, not only from the Asia Pacific region, but also from around the globe, to deliver short talks of between 45 mins to a maximum of one hour. This may include a short Question/Answer session to be handled by the Moderator.

These talks would be presented through Zoom to all those members within our region who log-in. We may arrange for pre-determined questions or open questions via Zoom’s Chat Box, depending on the particular talk and whether a synopsis of the talk is made available ahead of time.

In the first instance, we are seeking interest through our network from likely speaking candidates. Please note that all our AAPG programs are voluntary and that there is no stipend, remuneration or reimbursement of costs involved.

Potential speakers are invited to submit their details on the form found in Sheet 1. Kindly complete the form and save it as a new Excel file including your surname in the file title and return it to: . The Council will review all submissions and advise successful candidates in due course.

The coordination of the program will be handled by our Regional Programs Manager, Ms Adrienne Pereira, based in Singapore, who may be contacted at:

If you would like to participate as a Moderator for a Speaker's session (includes Q/A) and not as a Speaker, please email Adrienne Pereira, indicating your Name, Job Title, Company, Country, Email, and Series you would like to moderate.
