Building upon AAPG’s successful inaugural event in Myanmar in August 2014, held jointly with AAPG affiliated society the Myanmar Geosciences Society (MGS), AAPG has signed an MOU with sister society EAGE and MGS for the joint organization of the first Myanmar Oil & Gas conference.
The event is scheduled to take place in Yangon, from 19-20 November 2015. The three societies are very pleased to work together and bring a quality geoscience event to this rather under explored country that many call the “hottest hotspot” for hydrocarbon exploration in Asia and maybe even the world. A Field Trip, organized by the Myanmar Geosciences Society, will take place from 21-23 November 2015.
