Discovering the Latest Geological and Geophysical Thinking About the Eastern Mediterranean and its Petroleum Systems

Under the Patronage of His Excellency Eng. Tarek El Molla, Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, Egypt, AAPG Africa introduces the Eastern Mediterranean Mega-Basin: New Data, New Ideas, and New Opportunities GTW. This two-day event will be held on 6-7 September at the Radisson Blu Hotel in Alexandria, Egypt and will focus on the latest geological and geophysical thinking about the Eastern Mediterranean and its hydrocarbon systems.

The workshop will include the following technical sessions:

  • Session 1: Tectonic Controls on Stratigraphy and Hydrocarbon Systems
  • Session 2: Advances in Seismic Datasets – Acquisition, Imaging, and Interpretation
  • Session 3: Exploration Models – Successes and New Concepts
  • Session 4: Open Floor Discussion

Call for Abstracts
Send us your poster along with a short abstract. The artwork must be in PDF high resolution format and should be sent to by 5 August 2019. All posters will be produced as pull-up banners and delivered by AAPG. Please ensure that the poster artwork measurements are 85 cm (width) x 165 cm (height).
