Announcing the New AAPG Africa Region Officers

On behalf of AAPG headquarters and the Africa Region, we are pleased to announce your newly elected Africa Region officers for the 2018-20 term:

  • President-Elect - Adedoja "Doja" Ojelabi, Lagos, Nigeria
  • Vice President - Kaushalendra B. "K.B." Trivedi, Cape Town, South Africa
  • Secretary - Mimonitu Opuwari, Cape Town, South Africa
  • Treasurer - Scott Durocher, Cairo, Egypt

Effective July 1, 2018, the newly elected officers will join the other leadership members:

Two Region Officers (two-year term: 2018-20):

  • Past President: William "Bill" Bosworth, Cairo, Egypt
Six Region delegates to the AAPG House of Delegates (three-year term: 2016-19):

One Region Member of the AAPG Advisory Council (three-year term: 2016-19):
  • Advisory Councilor: Nosa Omorodion, Lagos, Nigeria
