The Energy Opportunities Conference program includes four primary components:
- Executive Sessions
- Business-to-Business Meetings
- New Technologies Showcase
- International Pavilion
Executive Sessions
Executive sessions feature keynote talks and strategic panels with industry leaders sharing their expertise in energy security, sustainable development, energy transition, transformative technologies, and resource development.
2026 strategic panels will cover the following topics:
- Expanding Success Across the Equatorial Margins
- Unlocking the Strategic Value of the South Atlantic Margin
- The Role of Natural Gas in the Energy Trilemma
- A Solid Portfolio: Balancing Oil and Gas and Renewables to Mitigate Risk and Maximize Returns
- The Path to Net Zero: Best Practices for Decarbonizing Oil and Gas Operations
- CCUS Project Implementation: Regulatory Frameworks, Infrastructure Investment, and the Leap from Pilot to Profit
- From Concept to Viability: Translating O&G Expertise into Geothermal and Hydrogen Projects
- Staying Connected: Meeting Energy Demand to Data Centers and AI
Each session includes brief presentations followed by moderated panel discussions with executives representing the companies known to be leaders in the topic covered by the panel.
Business-to-Business (B2B) Meetings
All conference attendees are welcome to participate in business-to-business (B2B) sessions, held in meeting rooms located at the event facility. The B2B sessions enable executives and new business professionals attending the event to connect in private space and engage in discussions that go beyond general conversations that take place during coffee breaks or cocktail receptions. Information about requesting and scheduling meeting will be made available approximately 6 weeks prior to the event.
New Technologies Showcase
The Energy Opportunities New Technologies Showcase provides an opportunity for companies and research institutions to share disruptive technologies, innovations and digital solutions designed to transform the energy sector. Showcase participants have table displays in the networking area and deliver brief presentations in the showcase theatre.
International Pavilion
The International Pavilion (IP) provides a space for NOCs, ministries, and government agencies attending Energy Opportunities to share information about bid rounds, open acreage, and investment opportunities in their countries. Conference attendees can visit the IP Theatre to see presentations highlighting opportunities in oil and gas, mineral resources, and renewable energies and to meet with agency representatives who manage the contracts.
Several of the agencies participating in the International Pavilion will join a regional Regulatory Agency Meeting held prior to the conference. This invitation-only session, open exclusively to regulatory agencies and ministries, provides an opportunity to colleagues to meet in a private environment to share best practices, discuss challenges and promote regional integration.
