Join AAPG's Latin America and Caribbean and Canada Regions for the 2nd Rockies and Andes Workshop, an interdisciplinary event designed for geoscientists and business development professionals interested in exploring the potential for energy resources in complex geological environments in Latin America and Western Canada.
The Rockies and Andes Workshop will be held in-person only to facilitate learning, sharing, and open discussion among all attendees.
The format includes oral and poster presentations, keynote talks, and interactive Q&A sessions organized along the following themes:
In addition to providing valuable information and connection for industry professionals, the Rockies and Andes Workshop is designed to make a positive impact on next generation of geoscience leaders in Peru.
Students and Young Professionals (YPs) qualify for volunteer opportunities and deeply discounted registration fees, and they are invited to participate in two professional development activities:
AAPG invites you to support GTW Rockies and Andes 2026, a multidisciplinary event bringing leading scientists and industry practitioners together to share best practices, exchange ideas, and explore opportunities for future collaboration.
Sponsorship provides your company with high visibility among the industry, government, and academic specialists attending the event, as well as to a global audience on the Internet. All monies contributed will be used to offset conference expenses and to provide support to university students and speakers who need financial assistance to attend the workshop.

*Member rate applies to AAPG members who have paid their dues for the current fiscal year. Emeritus members are 65 years or older and have been members for 30 years.
