Amy Henry,Chief Executive Officer, Eunike Ventures

Amy R. Henry is the CEO/Co-Founder of Eunike Ventures and owner of Henry CPA Group LLC, a local CPA firm for smallbusinesses. She has also received the Houston FIVE STAR Investment Professional AWARD in 2020, CommitteeMember HX (Houston Exponential) SDO (Startup Development Organizations) and was named by theHouston Chronicle in 2019, “Women Who Take the Lead in Building Houston’s Tech Ecosystem”, related to thelaunch of Eunike Ventures.
Eunike Ventures is a global energy venture builder that works with innovative, early-stage companies with highvalue added technologies through commercialization, across the entire Energy value chain. This new global openinnovation model of ‘Realizing the Entrepreneurial Spirit’ focuses on entrepreneurs, energy companies, paid pilots,and smart capital, which has included backing from large industry players such as Equinor, Hess, TechnipFMC, andAnadarko. Eunike launched their first technology hub in Alberta Canada at the end of 2020, along with their partnership with Foresight Cleantech Accelerator Centre.

Scott Neal, Director / Tight Assets, Chevron

Scott Neal is Director of Chevron’s Shale & Tight Asset Class, a position he has held since October 2020. In this role, he is responsible for prioritizing technology, standardization, organizational capability and driving performance improvements across all shale & tight assets in Chevron’s upstream portfolio. Scott joined Chevron in 1999 as a geophysicist and has held various positions in Exploration, Asset Development and Strategic Planning across multiple locations in the US and internationally. Prior to his current role he was the Manager of Exploration and Applied Reservoir Management in Chevron’s Mid-Continent Business Unit where he was responsible for leading a cross functional team carrying out a broad range of geoscience and engineering studies across the Permian Basin. International assignments included roles in Myanmar and Indonesia spanning both business and technical leadership. While in Myanmar, Scott was the President of the American Chamber of Commerce and Chairman of the US ASEAN Business Council in Myanmar. Earlier positions include a range of exploration, asset development and technical geophysics primarily focused in the deepwater Gulf of Mexico. Scott received his bachelor’s degree in physics from the University of California, Riverside, and his MS and Ph.D. degrees in geophysics from Indiana University.

Sunil Garg, Chief Executive Officer, DataVedik

Sunil Garg is the founder and CEO of dataVediK, a Houston based startup focused on sustainable living. dataVediK is a building a Hyper-Converged Data and Analytics Platform for Energy Industry which satisfies the critical customer business needs around optimizing operational efficiency, enhancing employee productivity, improving safety, faster and reliable decision making and reducing carbon footprint using the power of AI and Machine Learning. Prior to this, he spent 20+ years establishing and growing Data Management, Big Data and Analytics business for Schlumberger. Sunil has deep understanding of Oil and Gas data, Data Science & ML and uses the combination to build end user centric solutions. He is a member of several industry organizations and forums like SPE, AAPG, PPDM, SPDM, OSDU and Rice Alliance. Sunil is a sought-after speaker at various industry conferences and conducts Big Data, Machine Learning and Blockchain trainings for the Industry, the Government and the Academia. He is also an active angel investor and a charter member of TiE, an organization whose mission is to foster entrepreneurship through mentoring, networking, funding and incubation.

Shunhua Liu, Director, Unconventional Engineering Technology, Oxy

Shunhua Liu is the Director of Unconventional Simulation and Design in Occidental Onshore Resources & Carbon Management. Shunhua and his team are responsible for designing, maturing, and optimization of subsurface development concepts and designs ranging from initial completions to IOR/EOR opportunities. Shunhua earned his doctorate in Chemical Engineering from Rice University and has worked at Occidental since 2007.
