Prior to joining Arcadius, Ms. Nelson was an Associate at Scotia Waterous in Houston where she was a member of the A&D technical team providing strategic advice and technical evaluations and reviews of upstream assets in the GOM, US Lower 48, Latin America and assisted the London A&D technical team with international asset reviews. Prior to Scotia Waterous, Ms. Nelson was a Reservoir Engineer for the South Texas team at Swift Energy and a Reservoir Engineer for HighMount E&P’s Black Warrior Basin and Antrim Shale assets.
Ms. Nelson is a registered Professional Engineer in Texas and graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Petroleum Engineering from Colorado School of Mines. She most recently served as Treasurer of the Mines Alumni Association Board until June 2020. Ms Nelson is currently volunteering on the Houston Symphony’s Young Associates Council Steering Committee.
