Having a good reservoir understanding have always been key for decision makers to yield the highest value from their operations. However, in time of pandemic and oil price collapse, reservoir characterization and surveillance take on a new significance as a decision making tool, when individuals are working from home and teams have been gutted by furloughs and layoffs, but still complex decisions about reservoir optimization, production and transportation have to be made. We will discuss the value perceived by operators from reservoir characterization and surveillance data sources, as well which of them is considered more meaningful in today’s environment, and how to assure data integrity.
Panel Session will include a moderated Q&A period
