Skills & Capabilities will explore the theme of the skillsets and mindsets required to meet the skills gap in a rapidly accelerating energy transition. Some of the avenues investigated include: What will future careers in geoscience look like, across the demographic from student to upskilling the experienced professional?; What will be the key skills needed and how are these acquired? How will Equity/Diversity/Inclusion (EDI) be achieved? What will be the “New Ways of Working” in a post-pandemic world? Our approach will take a provocative stance, engaging “disrupters” and strategic thinkers from across both industry and academia into the discussion to give a truly global perspective.
