Location: In-Person – Colorado Convention Center (Speakers presenting in-person and online)

The petroleum industry powers the world through innovation and ingenuity as it explores and develops our energy resources. Recently, leaders in the industry have announced their efforts to integrate the best of the petroleum industry with investments in renewables, carbon capture, and other energy efficient businesses to further meet the evolving needs of our world. We would like to invite you to join members of the World Petroleum Council’s (WPC) Young Professionals Committee and US-based young professionals to explore how broad trends in sustainable development in petroleum are changing the energy industry as we know it.

Together we will explore how the energy transition relates the classic view of petroleum companies to the innovative goals of energy companies, learn from next-generation geoscientists how technology and data science are changing how we approach energy, and share in the experiences of young professionals as they navigate their careers with companies who are implementing energy integration and transition strategies. Join the zoom chat room after the panel presentation for an interactive Q&A.

Come share your views and questions on the future of energy and geoscience!
