Siliciclastic Petrography Fundamentals

Please note: Course is offered at the beginning of every month. You may sign up for it at any time, and your course will begin the first day of the upcoming month.
Who Should Attend
This course is designed for petroleum geologists who are working in siliciclastic environments. The course is also useful for geochemists, and scientists interested in learning the fundamentals of siliciclastic petrography.
Objectives

Upon successful completion of the course, students will be able to identify textures, classify siliciclastics, describe their textures, discuss mineralogy, explain diagenetic processes, and analyze factors affecting porosity and permeability.

Course Content

Content Description

Siliciclastic Petrography Fundamentals - How many hours per week to commit?
I am very interested in this course. I note it's a self-guided course, consisting of 8 units, and designed to be completed in 4 weeks. How many hours should a student dedicated to the course each week?
