Hernan Antolinez received a Bachelor of Science degree in Geology from the Universidad Industrial de Santander in 2004 and a Masters of Science in Geology & Geophysics from the Missouri University of Science and Technology in 2006. After graduating from Missouri S&T Hernan moved to Bogotá, Colombia where he worked in oil and gas exploration for Petrobrás Colombia and Gran Tierra Energy Colombia. As part of his professional experience he has worked in several offshore/onshore sedimentary basins in Colombia, Ecuador, Angola and Congo. His areas of expertise include prospect characterization and evaluation, risk analysis, deep water reservoir characterization, seismic stratigraphy and basin analysis. Hernan is also a specialist in exploration geology form the Universidad Corporativa de Petrobras and is currently working as a private consultant.
