Is Energy IN Data on the right track?
    Yes (1)
    No (0)
    50/50 (0)
    Motivation -

    1. Per feedback from ML and Analytics Workshop @Houston at the start of 2019, we shall facilitate a community to exchange ideas and put forward recommendations for AAPG continuing education. Retooling / upskilling, whatever we call it, is an integral part of the digital transformation mega trend.

    2. After a well attended and productive 2.5 day workout of EID @Austin a month ago, it is important to keep up with the momentum on digital transformation crossing disciplines.

    Actionable -

As food for thought, to differentiate from AAPG / SEG / SPE societies own annual conferences, here is a broad outline of aspiration EID 2020:

    a. Focus on the business utility of using the data in upstream oil and gas
    b. Emphasis on the integration between professions and work groups
    c. Value proposition tailored to each of the segments (e.g., exploration, development, production)
    d. Venue for interactivity and “hands on” dynamics (e.g., workshop / hackathon)

So let's start the conversation and shape the Digital Transformation. Be a player using Deep Learning TIG - share your ideas on what will make EID 2020 exciting and rewarding experience.
