The ultimate goal of the Salt Basins TIG is to unite academia and industry, diversify our field (people and research topics), and to create a scientifically inclusive environment for leading experts in salt tectonics to collaborate and thrive.

    Please post a single favorite picture/image of yours from your favorite salt related system.

    Too many to count! But if I had to choose two, I would select an image (hyper-spectral data) from my MSc and PhD field areas in the Flinders Ranges, South Australia and a Northern Gulf of Mexico deepwater bathymetry grid created from 3D seismic surveys (https://www.boem.gov/oil-gas-energy...-grid-3d).
