AAPG’s Geographic Sections and Regions are the foundational communities that connect members across the globe. Sections (within the U.S.) and Regions (internationally) serve as local hubs for professional development, networking, and leadership within the petroleum geosciences.
Each group hosts technical meetings, conferences, and outreach activities tailored to the geoscientific interests and priorities of its geographic area. These communities help AAPG foster a stronger, more connected global membership while advancing its mission at the local level.
