Nearly thirty (30) years prospecting and management in exploration, exploitation, and production roles for an integrated oil and gas E & P company. Currently Vice-President of Strategic Geoscience for the E & P Strategic Services group of Devon Energy, leading a team of 60+ geoscientists and support staff.

Throughout career focused on prospect evaluation, development and presentation. Over 17 years working principally U.S. Gulf Coast onshore (largely South Texas), with five (+) years in International (primarily Far East basins) projects. Since 1999, have been in management roles in Devon Western, Gulf Coast & Southern Divisions and Corporate Teams.

Currently interests include innovative application of technology to solve problems, economic evaluation of exploration opportunities, and cross-disciplinary cooperation applied to solving the unique challenges in “unconventional Resource” plays.
